The papers of Iris Murdoch consist of literary manuscripts for many of her books and plays. They are primarily handwritten drafts of her novels at various stages, usually in notebooks. Some of the novels include: An Accidental Man; The Bell; The Nice and the Good; The Sea, the Sea and; A Word Child. There is also correspondence with John Fletcher.
